Join this leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader and enjoy social walking with our friendly members.

This is a circular walk of approximately 4 miles, around the late autumn landscape of Highbury arboretum and woodlands.
Meet at the entrance to Highbury Park, from Alcester Road (A435) approx. postcode B14 7SN, 11.00 am, next to the construction site for the new station at Kings Heath.
To join by public transport. Nos. 35 and 50 buses from Moor Street, approximately every 5-7 minutes take about 25 minutes. Alight at Station Road bus stop opposite the Gym. Cross the road at the lights and walk back to the entrance to the park. There are toilets in Kings Heath library, but no toilets on the walk.
To join by car: Park in the car park off Shutlock Lane B13 8NZ by 11.05 am . The leader will meet car drivers in the ca rpark.
The route passes through the grounds of Highbury Hall, the forest school orchard and incorporates a loop through Holder’s Lane woods. While most of the walk is on good paths, they are uneven and can be muddy in patches, as there are a number springs in the park. For those who wish, after the walk the group can drop in on The Loco lounge for refreshments.
