These walks offer the opportunities for non-members to bring the family and start walking in the countryside on walks led by Birmingham Ramblers members.

It is very helpful for the walk leader to have prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. Distance 7 miles, total ascent 380ft, several stiles.

By Public Transport-Train, 9.50 am New Street Station arrives Droitwich Spa 10.24 am. Off peak fare £9.80 return. If preferred from Snow Hill Station catch 9.31 am which arrives in Droitwich Spa at 10.20 am.

By car: Droitwich station has a carpark £2.30 all day on Saturdays. (there may be free parking on unnamed road off Union Lane).

This walk from Droitwich Station dips down to the canal before gently ascending via Westwood House with views of The Malvern Hills and a scenic coffee stop. The route then descends to Hadley passing an attractive Mill house and continues on fields and lanes to the Hadley Bowling Green Inn. After light refreshments the route continues crossing the meandering river Salwarpe before joining the Droitwich canal tow-path back to the station.
