Join this leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader and enjoy social walking with our friendly members.
It is very helpful for the walk leader to have prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. This is a 5 mile circular walk around Elmdon Park.
Public transport: meet at Moor Street Queensway bus stop MS17 for X1, 10.25 am. Alight Arden Oak restaurant.
Car: 11.00 am at the Arden Oak restaurant car park, B26 3LU.
There are toilet facilities at Arden Oak and refreshments after the walk. This is a Circular Walk starting from the Arden Oak. Elmdon Park is the remnants of the park for Elmdon Hall, now long gone. It has fine views, a heritage trail, nature reserve in the walled garden, meadow areas, church, sport facilities and a Lake. This walk explores the park via the heritage trail and nature reserve, using the Hatchbrook trail to enter and exit.
