Kenrick Park to The Brasshouse Saturday walk for the public

These walks offer the opportunities for non-members to bring the family and start walking in the countryside on walks led by Birmingham Ramblers members.

It is very helpful for the walk leader to have prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. We meet at Kenrick Park Midland Metro Tram station, postcode B70 6DL at 10:30 am.
By Midland Metro Tram: There are numerous tram stations in the City Centre, a ten-minute service and around a twenty minute journey (direction towards Wolverhampton).
By car: There are no car parking facilities at Kenrick Park station but maybe on-road parking nearby.

We will walk along the Birmingham Canal passing Galton Bridge and the Round House to finish by the Brasshouse pub, a short walk or tram ride back to the City Centre and onwards to Kenrick Park if required. The canal has a well-surfaced pathway and includes some quite steep ‘hump-back’ bridges to go up and over. There are no toilet facilities on this walk until we reach the City Centre.
